The Beginning

• 1988 – Trucut tools is founded by James Cooper, and day-to-day operations begin from home, with stock in the garage.
• 1991 – First premises are rented above shopfront, 400sq/ft.
• 1993 – Trucut purchases its own 1200sq/ft premises in Poole and employs 2 members of staff.
• 1995-2010 – Steady sales growth leads to a team of 12 staff and stock in every corner.
• 2015 – Continued growth leads to moving 3900sq/ft premises in Ferndown.
• 2020 – Just 5 years on Trucut moves again to 6000sq/ft full height warehouse plus 1600sq/ft office space.
